Last week we had the opportunity to film an upcoming story for Life of Duty in the San Jose, California area. We met and following a number of California Fish and Game officers as well as the sheriff department in the eradication and clean up of a marijuana garden in the hills above San Jose. The experience was eye-opening to say the least.
We’ll be posting the trailer and documentary in the next few weeks, but for now, above is the news report that was filmed on one of the hikes we were on and here’s the article write-up from the Mercury News in San Jose. It gives a little insight as to the extent of the problem.
Life of Duty // US Navy Seal Wives: “Warrior Wives”
Posted on 18. Feb, 2012 by Ryan in Explore, Life of Duty, Video
One of the more powerful things we got to film last year was a group of U.S. Navy Seal Wives. The opportunity to meet these amazing women, to hear their stories – their fears, struggles, pain but also their commitment and courage – of being wives’ to some of the most elite warriors in the world, was incredible. Even while filming it was hard not to get caught up in their stories and be forced to hold back tears. Above is a short bonus feature from the “Adam Brown Story” that was created in part from these interviews. Be sure to take a moment to watch this documentary on Adam Brown.
