Last week I had the opportunity to present at the Social Media Bootcamp at the Center for Meeting and Learning at LCC. My presentation focused on your website as the foundation for your social media/online strategy, including basic thoughts on how to build your site with a solid foundation, along with some search engine optimization tips.
Below is the presentation. If you’ve got any questions about our next Social Media Bootcamp, or would like to talk about building a strong foundation for your company/organization online, give us a call.
It’s been a very busy summer for us at AO.Creative. Between our regular work with websites, video production and print design, we’ve also had increased collaboration with Vivid Wedding Films and DuckSportsNews.com, which has added to the chaos.
We’re in the process of updating our blog with recent work, so check back over the next few days/weeks to see what we’ve been up to.

A quick video shot in our front yard using the Canon 5D Mark II and the IndiSlider Pro. I used my son Cade as the subject for this little test video, titled “Wiffle Ball Smash.”
We just filmed another Bowtech video. This time, instead of the studio, we shot at Bowtech’s top-secret R & D department.
It was great working with Gene and Matthew, who were on hand from Bowtech as technical directors. Ryan Welch and Jay Jones directed and Erik Hecht was director of photography.
Here are a few stills from the production. Video’s release date is top-secret. Seriously.

We’re excited to announce that we’re finished with Caleb & Sol’s music video for their song “Afloat” and it will be released online Tuesday, April 14.
Here’s a few more shots from last Saturday’s shoot.

We just finished logging the footage for Caleb & Sol’s music video this evening. Overall, I’d say we’re pretty happy with the footage we captured.
Now, the fun part…putting it all together in to one heck of a music video. Here’s a few frames taken from the video, just to give you a sniff. These are straight from the camera – no post processing. We shot the entire video with the Canon 5D Mark II and it performed very well.

A few photos from our shoot yesterday. I’ll post more along with some details about the shoot later in the week.

We finished a late night of shooting at Urraco Coffee shop in Shelton. Matt (owner) did a great job of remaining flexible as we worked in changes to the script as we went along. He may have been a bit amped on caffeine towards the end of the night as he made himself multiple-double shots of espresso over the course of the shoot.
We’re back at the hotel now downloading and backing up all the footage from tonight’s shoot. Tomorrow, we’ll get most of the b-roll we need during business hours. Here’s a couple of still we grabbed from tonight. Look for more in the coming days and of course the completed video(s) in the next few weeks.

We’ve been busy this winter with lots of different and exciting projects. That theme continues as we head into February. Here’s a taste of what’s on tap at AO.Creative this February and beyond:
- Launch of Bruce Berg’s website. We’re working on two sites for Bruce, a local award winning photographer.
- Music video for Caleb & Sol - who just had their CD Release party tonight. We’re scheduled to film in March with a release date sometime in April. Look for updates as that project moves along.
- Website launch for Strategic Hardware. They focus on virtualized storage, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Video for Urraco Coffee. We’re schedule to shoot on February 20, with a release date sometime in March.
- Website launch for Urraco Coffee. Urraco’s online coffee club will be the focus of this site when it’s launched this spring.
Those are just a few projects we’ve got on the docket at AO.Creative. Stay tuned for updates.
